How we can help

Two areas of focus.
The same attention to your case.

Tax obligations depend on the facts, the type of income and the jurisdictions involved. We begin by defining the question you need answered.

For Chilean and overseas businesses seeking clarity on the tax treatment of an international transaction.

  • Classification of services, royalties, interest and other income.
  • Withholding tax analysis and application of double tax treaties.
  • Review of contracts, certificates and supporting documents.

02 / INDIVIDUALS AND PROFESSIONALS

Tax residency and international income

For foreign nationals, professionals and executives moving to Chile or maintaining income and ties abroad.

  • Assessment of tax residency, domicile and presence in Chile: the 183-day rule and other factors.
  • Remote work, foreign income and income-source analysis.

Frequently asked questions

What information do you need to assess my case?

Initially, a brief description of your question, the countries involved and your decision timeline. Depending on the case, we may request contracts, income details, dates of presence or relevant certificates.

Does tax residency depend only on the 183-day rule?

No. The assessment may also require reviewing domicile, income sources and applicable treaties. Counting days is one part of the analysis; conclusions depend on each case’s facts.

Can I request an English report for my advisers?

Yes. We can agree to prepare the report in English or Spanish for review by your team or overseas advisers. Delivery in both languages is defined in the proposal.

What are the fees and delivery timeline?

This depends on the questions, jurisdictions, complexity and available documents. Fees and the estimated timeline are agreed before work begins.
