Cookie Policy
This Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies that www.consultoresid.cl may use. Non-essential categories remain off until you authorise them through the preference centre.
1. What they are
Cookies are small files stored in the browser by a website or provider. We may also use local storage, tags or equivalent technologies to remember preferences, operate features, protect the Website and, with authorisation, measure its use.
2. Categories
- Necessary: support security, navigation and preference records and cannot be switched off in the centre.
- Preferences: remember additional options when enabled.
- Analytics: measure use and performance where a configured tool has been authorised.
- Advertising: measure campaigns or conversions where a configured tool has been authorised.
- Third-party services: load embedded content, such as Google Maps, only after authorisation.
3. Implementation inventory
| Technology or provider | Purpose | Duration or activation | Category |
|---|---|---|---|
| idc_consent_v1 (local storage) | Records the consent decision. | Up to 12 months. | Necessary |
| WordPress | Security and sessions for authorised administrators. | Session or technical period set by WordPress; normally not applied to anonymous visitors. | Necessary |
| Google Maps | Displays the office map. | Loads only after authorising third-party services or expressly requesting the map; Google determines its technologies. | Third party |
| Google Tag Manager / configured tools | Manages analytics or advertising measurement. | Does not load without a configured identifier and consent for the relevant category. | Analytics / Advertising |
| Calendly, WhatsApp and Instagram | Booking, messaging and social networks through external links. | Not embedded before the click; the provider's policies apply once its service opens. | External service |
4. Managing or withdrawing your decision
You can accept, reject or select categories in the preference centre and change or withdraw your decision at any time through the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. You may also clear Website storage in your browser. Rejecting non-essential technologies does not prevent access to the main content, although a map or other integration may remain disabled.
5. External services
When you voluntarily follow a link to Calendly, WhatsApp, Instagram, Google Maps or another website, you leave the IDC domain and the provider may use its own cookies. Review its policies before continuing.
6. Updates
The inventory will be reviewed when tools are added, removed or changed. The published version will state its latest update. The Privacy Policy explains the associated data processing.
