Cookie Policy

Last updated: 14 August 2026

This Policy describes cookies and similar technologies used by www.consultoresid.cl. The Website applies prior blocking: no non-essential technology loads before the user authorises the relevant category.

1. Categories

  • Necessary: support navigation, security and preference records and cannot be switched off in the centre.
  • Preferences: remember additional Website options when enabled.
  • Analytics: measure use and performance after authorisation.
  • Advertising: measure campaigns and conversions after authorisation.
  • Third-party services: load external content, such as Google Maps, after authorisation or an express request.

All optional categories are off by default.

2. Inventory

Technology or provider Purpose Duration or activation Category
idc_consent_v2 — IDC first-party cookie Stores the decision, categories, pseudonymous identifier and event pending server recording 12 calendar months after the decision or amendment Necessary
Server consent record Evidences UTC date and time, event and categories 24 months from each event; automatically deleted afterwards Necessary
WordPress Security and authorised administrator sessions Session or technical period set by WordPress; normally not applied to anonymous visitors Necessary
Google Tag Manager and configured tags Manage analytics or advertising Do not load without analytics or advertising authorisation Analytics / Advertising
idc_attribution_v1 — IDC first-party cookie Retains GCLID and utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term and utm_content for form and campaign attribution 90 days after the latest visit containing recognised parameters; deleted when Advertising is rejected or withdrawn Advertising
Google Maps Display the office map Does not load without third-party-service authorisation or an express map request Third-party services
Calendly, WhatsApp and Instagram External services opened by the user's decision Not embedded before the click; the provider applies its technologies after its domain opens External service

The server consent record does not store the IP address or user agent. It uses a pseudonymous identifier to connect the initial decision with later amendments or withdrawal.

When the landing URL contains a GCLID or UTM parameters, the Website keeps them only in volatile memory for the lifetime of that page. They are not written to persistent storage before authorisation. If the user accepts Advertising without leaving the landing page, the Website creates idc_attribution_v1 retroactively; if the user rejects, withdraws authorisation or navigates before deciding, attribution is lost in whole or in part as a consequence of that decision.

3. Giving, changing or withdrawing the decision

The banner presents “Accept all”, “Reject non-essential” and “Cookie settings” with equivalent prominence. The “Cookie settings” link remains available in the footer. Withdrawal turns every optional category off, retains the withdrawal decision for 12 months, records the event and reloads the page so resources previously loaded do not remain active.

Rejection or withdrawal does not prevent access to the main content. Functions depending on a third party, such as the map, remain disabled.

4. External services and transfers

When a user opens Calendly, WhatsApp, Instagram, Google Maps or another external service, the provider may use its own technologies and process data outside Chile. The Privacy Policy identifies the providers and contemplated international transfers.

5. Updates and contact

The inventory will be reviewed when tools are added, removed or changed. Questions and data-subject requests: gregorio@consultoresid.cl.
